Whether you’re a freelancer or a founder, women-only workspaces offer much-needed opportunities for collaboration, creativity and community. Despite a wave of high-profile closures over the past couple of years, there’s still a handful of standout spaces to choose from in the capital.
London has long been home to ‘gentlemen’s clubs’, but in the past decade or so, a new wave of women-focused workspaces has emerged, offering stylish and supportive environments for professional women to work, connect and collaborate with other women. These niche, gender-specific workspaces offer flexible working in appealing settings, with comfortable workstations and community events that encourage connection with like-minded women. While the number of women-only spaces may be falling, most notably with the closure of The Wing in 2020 and AllBright’s flagship Mayfair townhouse, there are still a few spaces going strong. Here, we’ve rounded up three of the best coworking spaces for women in London.
The Hearth

With its relaxing pastel colours, plush furnishings and balmy scent, The Hearth is a far cry from your standard impersonal co-working fare that dominates the market at the moment. Set over two floors, this women-only space offers ample seating, fast and reliable WiFi, private booths for phone calls, and a large meeting room for on-site meetings. There’s also a small cafe on the ground floor serving cold and hot beverages throughout the day.. Plus, there’s an impressive calendar of regular events, including bi-weekly ‘cake and chat’ to encourage networking and community, a regular book club, lunch and learn sessions and a choir. There’s even a wellness room, where members can enjoy holistic healing and beauty treatments without even stepping foot outside. Prices start from £30 for ‘village’ access to £350 for a dedicated desk and unlimited hours per month.

The Working Mums Club

Located in Deptford, The Working Mums Club is a hybrid coworking space, nursery and community hub designed for women, specifically mothers. It’s one of the few spaces in London that offers high quality childcare and dedicated workspaces for professional mothers under one roof, giving mums the chance to keep up with their careers while staying close to the kids. The coworking space features phone booths, comfy communal workstations and a members’ kitchenette to prep meals and drinks. Members can opt for flex membership with three hours of childcare and coworking or a bronze, silver, gold and platinum membership with access up to 5 days per week from 8 am-6 pm. Prices start from £65 per session.

Damsel Collective

Damsel Collective, one of the newest additions to Hoxton’s hip Kingsland Road, is less technically a multi-purpose venue with a dedicated co-working space. Opened in June 2025, the space is one of the few venues in the UK for women+, including queer women, lesbians, trans women and non-binary. Designed to rebuild community-focused queer venues beyond nightlife, the venue houses a cafe and workspace for remote working, meetings and socialising by day and a cocktail bar and social venue by night. There’s also a basement cultural space that hosts various workshops, performances, film screenings and other events. Co-working at Damsel is flexible and affordable, starting at just £3.50 per session.
